It's much better to put our friends at the Federal Communications Commission in charge of the Internet with a simple mandate called "Net Neutrality." We can trust the FCC and their lawyers to keep the Internet exactly the way it is today. The FCC even has happy process of public hearings and regulatory promulgation, so it will take years to approve changes to the Internet. And as a special bonus, our big friends at eBay and Google won't have to worry about other innovators competing with them. And of course, we trust the FCC and their buddies in Congress to never try to censor content. Back in 1997, Hillary Clinton saw the future when she declared that the Internet needs "an editing function or gate-keeping function." It's taken nearly a decade, but now powerful business interests and the rest of the Left-Wing establishment have joined her. We made our money from innovation and an open Internet, so now its time to make sure we'll still be making money ten years from now.
